Having a reliable person in your life allows you to take risks and grow.
This concept reminds me of my time in radio, where we always had to think about our bench players.
What if our morning person suddenly left?
We needed to have someone we had been training and giving reps to for the past few years. It was safer to let them fail on the weekends, rather than putting them in prime time.
But the question was always, where would that person be three to five years from now?
