Osgood Schlatter’s Disease is an overuse type injury of the knee that is most common in adolescents and is usually characterized by a gradual onset of anterior knee pain.¬† This disease is caused by repetitive strain on the tibial tuberosity via the patellar tendon.¬† It is most common in adolescent athletes with higher demand on the quadriceps with sports that involve running and jumping.
