62 – Transversus Abdominus Dance Research from Western Carolina Univ & Cycing PT w/ Kur Sohn

Episode 62:

First Pint: Todd Watson PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT and Jessica Graning PT, DPT, PCS  From Western Carolina University Physical Therapy.

Todd is Professor of Physical Therapy at WCU and received his physical therapy education from Idaho State University, post professional DPT from the University of St. Augustine and post-doctoral research fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University. He teaches the orthopedic content and also currently practices at Carolina West Sports Medicine. He considers himself a reasonable dancer but that claim has repeatedly failed to be supported by direct observation.

Jessica is the Western Carolina University Department of Physical Therapy Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education. She received her BA in Exercise and Sport Science from UNC Chapel Hill and her DPT from Duke University. She teaches pediatric content and professional practice courses and is the WCU Dance Team Coach.
Second Pint: Kur Sohn PT, DPT, OCS
Kur is a board certified orthopedic clinical specialist physical therapist that specializes in bike fitting. He is currently working on establishing a presence amongst the cycling community to entrust physical therapists for the care of making them efficient and pain free on and off the bike. He is also actively involved in providing quality affordable cash-based physical therapy care to soccer and baseball youth athletes in the Northern VA region.
