Jimmy talked with Dennis Fell and Barry Dale @ NEXT in Boston 2017.  They shared insight on their presentation topic of Neuroplastic changes in Orthopedic patients as well as using technology in the clinic.  They had several small studies on using an accelerometer in a cell phone.

Dennis Fell’s Bio:

Dennis Fell an MD before going to PT school and graduating from University of South Alabama. He has now been on faculty there for 25 years. Currently the Vice President of APTA Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy and VP of APTA Alabama Chapter. Recipient of 2017 APTA Lucy Blair Service Award. His textbook “Lifespan Neurorehabilitation: A Patient-centered Approach from Examination to Interventions and Outcomes” will be published by FA Davis this Fall. Known for his bow ties and wild socks, when he’s not doing PT, he love cycling, baking and birding – good exercise!
